Who we are:

The Nanchang Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018, fully operated by volunteers. Our mission is to help re-connect adoptees with their roots in China. To date, we have assisted in over 130 reunions and registered 700+ birth families. Our team consists of volunteers across 6 countries. We are proudly also the only organization of its kind that is co-led by both Chinese adoptees and adoptive parents. Ultimately, the longterm vision for Nanchang Project is to someday be entirely led by adult adoptees, so joining our team will help us get closer to accomplishing this goal.

Eligibility:

We welcome all candidates with a passion for our mission to reunite families affected by separation to apply! Our current team is made up of volunteers from diverse backgrounds. Chinese adoptees and members from these adjacent communities are strongly encouraged to apply: those of Asian descent, domestic or international adoptees, adoptive family members. You may be located anywhere in the world; all positions will be conducted remotely. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
